It is with great sadness that I write this. Scott passed to the arms of his savior last night. He never caught a break through this whole thing but did pass at home surrounded by his family and his dogs. I have never and probably never will know a kinder man. He was filled with grace and made us all better for knowing him. Godspeed sweetheart.

I am so sorry to hear about Scott's passing. I hadn't checked the website in a while and I am very saddened for what all Scott went through. I wish you strength and much love in the coming days and weeks ahead. Your former UW-Green Bay colleague....

Scott left behind a legacy of strength and courage under fire, and a wonderful wife and family who will miss him immensely. It was great to read of his journey, as I traveled alongside him with my own AML issues. Thank you so much for posting all these years. I will miss checking in on Scott.
