I want to remind those of you that had or are going to have a stem cell transplant how very important dental care is.  I stop going for 1 1/2 years because I was so sick and convinced I was going to die soon.  Now a crown broke off and they found an unbelievable amount of decay at or under the gum line.  I'm going to lose two teeth right away and they are going to try to save the rest with numerous and expensive treatments.  We lose saliva from the chemo treatments and this accelerates decay.  My sister Debbie reminded me to post this so others will listen to their doctors when they talk about using biotine and getting frequent checkups.
