I have a cold
My first infection since the transplant. I go to Chicago today so I'll find out what the doctor thinks. I will get labs drawn, maybe I'll get completely off of my anti rejection med:) I'm going to get a flu shot also. I'm not sure when, but I will have to get all my vaccinations redone. I got cookies from Betty's friends, but I wasn't allowed to have any unless I let Betty take a picture of me eating them. They were/are delicious. Thank You I wasn't about to pass on that! I'm now over the 160lb mark and feeling strong. I'm up to 45 minutes on an elipticle machine with no problem, as long as this cold runs a normal course I couldn't ask for things to be any better. For those of you going through this, I still have a dry mouth and eyes and altered sense of taste. Small price to pay for looking at the grass from this side.
God Bless,
Scott

Glad to hear you are doing well. Take it easy with that cold. When I had one, I got stuck in the hospital for 4 days on heavy antibiotics. Also, my doctor mentioned I should expedite the flu shot. He states that people in our condition who get the flu have a 30% mortality rate. I think that is a bit alarmist but still better to be safe than sorry.
