I found out yesterday that my good friend John Crabb passed away.  He had lung cancer and found out about the same time I started treatment for my cancer.  He had been treated  on and off and the cancer spread, was put into remission, then I got a call from his wife just before Christmas that he had weeks to a few months to go.  I just couldn't believe it.  I called John and he sounded so positive, but he went fast after that point.  John is the first person close to me to pass from cancer in a long time and when you have/had cancer it is different.  Rest in peace my friend:(

I slowly getting over the shingles, my eyes are still bad, and now I have an eye and sinus infection.  Nothing like waking up to one eye sealed shut.  But I am free of cancer and alive, my hope is all these little infections will fade away and health will return.  Getting old really sucks.   I saw my old boss yesterday at Planet Fitness.  He got me interested in running my first 10k.  He ran all the time and get me to run the Bellin Run.  Now he has had health issues and I told him there I times I think that I should have just kept smoking and drinking and skipped the running and lifting.  Well that's it for now,
