Low point                                                                                                                    March 11 2012

I won't lie, this is tough. Never seen Scott so frustrated. He says he feels like he has been hit by a bus. Only got out of bed to sit in the chair yesterday, and that took about 10 minutes to do. He is getting blood, platelets, antibiotics, minerals and fluids IV, steroid cream for hands and face, and his daily pills for pain and inflammation. He is the opposite of himself, weak and quiet. His voice is just a whisper. Hands still extremely painful, but better than the worst day. His body and mind just need to concentrate on healing now. Good thing GOD is bigger than Cancer.

Docs say this stage will last another 4 days or so. That chemo totally poisoned him, so it had to kill all the leukemia too. Won't find out for sure until after the biopsy which should be the end of this week.

One day at a time.

Mary G shared this quote with me today and it pretty much sums up how I feel about Scott.

I dropped a tear in the ocean. The day you find it is the day I will stop loving you. ~Author Unknown

It's a beautiful day today, go outside, take a deep breath of fresh air and soak up some sun for Scott, and appreciate it just because you can!
