Well, I now know what my body will look like at 70.  I have no muscle tone, my skin is flaking off by the pound.  I still have shankles, for that matter I don't think I have much muscle left.  I see what they mean by it will take six months if all goes well to get back to work.  The good thing is my wetsuit for diving will go on easy now.  I want to thank everybody again for the prayers and support, I could not have gotten through this part without it.

God Bless,
Scott

  1. Scott,
So great to read your posts! Glad you're feeling up to it. Your sense of humor is refreshing, though I wish I would have seen the comment about your skin AFTER lunch! Potato chips are bad for me anyway, right?
Full speed ahead with your recovery brother!
    God bless you!

  2. Dad,
I am sooo excited to come see you tomorrow. You are going to be amazed at the changes in Makenna! It was so good to hear you talk last time you called. you sounded so much better compared to 3 days before that! Your sense of humor is returning and we all know that means you are healing. See you tomorrow.
    Love always,
    Erica and Makenna

  3. Hey, I love your posts ....... now becareful of the age issues :-) I will be 71 April 17th and I tell people therefor I can be crabby once in a while, and the nurses at Holy Family still say " here come's trouble" and Scott I have no ideal what they mean.

I am glad to see your humor is returning and just give yourself time to heal.

What church to you go to in the Denmark area ??? We have friends attending the Lutheran Church in Denmark the Hansons. And also Deacon Cal Naidl at the Catholic Church in Cooperstown.

Keep the positive attitude going and when you can't, just have a conversation with God and dump on him because he can deal with it.

  4. Scott would you like tennis coupons to redeem? It might be good for you to get a tennis win with no muscle tone. What are Shankles? Take care we are thinking of you and praying for your quick recovery.
