The roller coaster is going up again:)  Last week I saw my transplant Doctor in Chicago.  I asked about the breathing lung thing and he said the recent test was comparable to pre transplant so all is OK  and there will be no inhalers for me.  My counts were all OK and the liver counts improved some. :)  Yesterday I had my esophageal varacies checked and there only three and they were not bad, just to the size the doctor banded them.  My ferretin(iron) was down to 1150 which is great.  Now the next thing is to see the eye doctor to get my cataracts done. That is it for now.
God Bless
Scott

  1. So glad to read this post, Scott! Yeah, I have cataracts, too. They say the chemo can accelerate their formation, however, at 64 years old, it's age appropriate for me to have them anyway! Sometimes things are not always transplant related, but we always wonder, don't we? I replied to your July 31st post a few days ago. Not sure if you saw that. Have a great day. You get "Most Improved" this week.
