My sister Deb wants me to name our grouse so Hecuba it is.  Rain today and I was planning on taking a day off from walking so that worked out.  I was going to cut the grass but now I can't :)  I pulled my motorcycle out yesterday and move it up to the house garage so I could clean it up.  I realized that it will be a couple of days yet before I have the strength to safely ride it.  Health wise I'm feeling good, I frustrate Betty because I can't hear as well and I don't have my full concentration back.  I misunderstand things that are not due to hearing.
Enjoy the day because each day is a gift from God.

  1. Speaking of hearing issues.....three old men went for a walk from the retirement home.
The 1st one said, "It's Windy today"
The 2nd one said, "It's not Wednesday, it's Thursday"
The 3rd one answered, "Well if you're Thirsty, let's stop for a drink"

Hope your hearing returns soon - but if it doesn't, at least it's a source for some comic relief. :)

  6. Scott, hopefully the weather gets better soon, so you can enjoy the outdoors. Thanks for the tip, next time Carol complains about stuff, I'll use the, "loss of hearing excuse". You two take care, we are thinking of you.

  7. Psst .. Lack of hearing and low attention span are defensive mechanisms of a married man. :)
